If the deposit is claimed early, interest is paid for the full number of days the funds are on the deposit in thefollowing amount: no interest is paid for up to 3 months, from 3 to 12 months - at a rate of 17% per annum, over 12 months - 18% per annum. The amount of interest paid in excess due to early withdrawal of the deposit is withheld from the deposit amount
